Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently Onesti(born November 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now One Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to receive a score of a perfect of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at age six. Later, she would become Romania's gymnastics coach. Her first competition was in the National Junior Championships which she was 13th place in the year 1969. In the year 1970, she won. In 1972, during a meet of communist countries junior athletes before the Olympics she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. When she competed for the first time as a senior, in 1975 she bested the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva the five-time European champion winning four gold medals as well as one silver. She was the first woman to ever successfully complete reverse double saltos when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was a teen she began her career in the entertainment industry as a performer as figure skater. Along with her twin brother Nina Wayne she was part of a traveling show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her entertainment career when she was in her teenage years. She began her professional career by performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment show Ice Capades. They featured staged ice skating shows.
