Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She is the fourth generation of Robertses to reside in the Atlanta area beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. The Robertses' father was interested in theater from a young age. As a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi the Mississippi coast, he was a part of productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955. Their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter as well as his spouse left for the Army in the year 1957 when they enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. Within this period, they were blessed with two additional kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
