Jo passed away at the age of 30 on June 30 2023 as a result of an Aneurysm. The neck of Jo was hurt before his passing. Noel Deyzel (a fellow bodybuilder) confirmed his death by posting it on Instagram. Then, his girlfriend Nicha too followed suit.
